again i need your help
(since you were so kind to help me out with the little wreaths)
so far there are two opinions on this draft for a post card:
the fact that you almost can´t read it is either the most awesome or most awfull thing about it
what do you think?
and YES - there is an I missing - thank you so much ULMA
(thank you E for your inspiration for this by the way
hopefully i can show you sometime what she made)
.
after taking pictures
i dried the rose petals from my mother´s Cardinal de Richelieu
to sprinkle it on the matcha cake from HOW TO BOIL AN EGG
which i´m planning to make - and a lot of other things - for the garden party
my two sisters and me are hosting this summer
in case they actually manage to find a date
who wants to come?!
.
already made three bottles of elderflower cordial
and MIMA´s elderflower jelly
last year i also made ELDERFLOWER SHORTBREAD
.
again i went to the abandoned nursery
to cut some roses
tacky and very old
thinking about rescuing the pink one
already dugg up a very pretty peonie for half an hour
hope she will make it
since i almost ruined my favorite pair of trousers
.
got my first foxgloves
put them in the only flower bed without any edible plants
for safety
.
thanks to the crazy weather
this was probably the first time my grandmother got peonies for her birthday
the arrangement i made for her grave smelled like an odd mixture of them and onion
because i threw in some nectaroscordum
i think she would have found that funny
.
the talking cat is everywhere i go
she likes my couch the most of course
and fights off the fattest cats twice her size
a though cookie indeed
.
take a look at NINA´s new shop ZIERRAT UND GOLD
so happy to find some of our PIECES there

(via everywhere)
.
we are so lucky
even though our workshop (and my parents house)
is right in the middle of the flood plain of the Danube
and everything is constructed in a way to avoid water damage
we only have had clear ground water running through the property
thanks to an amazing pumping station and an excellent dam system
so all we that is needed now is a bucket of desinfectant chalk paint
when the old quarrystone walls are dry again
our heart goes out to those who have lost so much
.
the garden actually looked quite pretty
kind of like a jungle
and the water reflections made the workshop look very mysterious
.
hopefully you all know the lovely ceramics from OTCHIPOTCHI
made by PAULA
they´re just perfect, so delicate and clean
and there is a little secret in the works...
TINY BOUQUET #36 FOR PAULA
made from old and new (to the garden) flowers and tiny trees i had to cut down
.
CONGRATULATIONS TO K FOR GETTING HER DREAM JOB
now i only have to support one sister:)
.
do you know how to get my hands on this CELIA BIRTWELL x UNIQLO dress?
they don´t ship to Germany...

2.6.13

we just tried to waterproof our workshop, showroom and my parents ground-floor
since the peak of the Danube floods will arrive here tomorrow
like probably everywhere with all this rain
so we´re going to be a bit behind and very very wet
hopefully it´s not going to be as bad as it currently looks
for all of you out there
sounds like the rain has stopped for a bit
.
for my birthday dear JULIE created me a delicious menu
considering all my diet restrictions - but it´s sure doesn´t look like that
she also made me the most wonderful little cookbook
thank you so much for this amazing gift
.
and thank you NINA for a spot on cookie cutter and an edition of one of the most beautiful books
i also just made her FICHTENWIPFERL again - so woody and sweet
.
my mother´s Dijon roses
cut before they started to rot in the rain
and pretty columbine varieties from my favorite old plant lady from the farmers market
she brings new to me ones every week
hopefully my garden will soon look like the one in the old photograph
.
at first i thought those two wreath styles wouldn´t go together
and i had to choose
but now i like them both - do you have a favorite?
i´d love a bit of help with this decision
.
LOOP EAR STUDS to go with the LOOP RING - custom made
.
an INTERVIEW with Ana Kras
i like THIS GIRL´S style
(i don´t think i got one of my own, since i like to change everything so much)
MAD STYLE (via MISS MOSS) - wow, so much thought put in every tiny detail
.
which reader are you going to use
when google reader runs out?
