Last May, back when it was Summer and there was no snow and I had my BIRTHDAY PARTY, Elsa and Samuel had their first go at painting enamel at our workshop. They went on doing so for a while and sent us various packages filled with tiny paintings (see more about the casting process HERE). So at our Weihnachtsmarkt we were able to show the pendants we created with them AND Elsa even did custom live paintings, well she did one and the almost three year old subject wasn´t that into it, but she did it anyway. The custom option is still available, so contact us with your ideas via mail@wsake.com, but we also just put a lot of ready mades in the SHOP just now. Cats and dogs and fruit and a lot of talismans for any kind of ailment, I got a vertebra for myself and I´m thinking of also getting ovaries and an uterus, maybe a whole digestive system and arms, I really need arms. Everything should be just fine then, just fine.

Ich denke mir, ich bin jetzt einfach nicht aufgeregt, die sind bestimmt auch nicht aufgeregt. Die sind jung, die studieren, für die ist sowas ein Witz, da kann ich jetzt nicht aufgeregt sein. Ich bin dann auch wirklich nicht aufgeregt, kein Grund. Wenn sie dann nicht mehr studieren, machen sie vielleicht eine Imbiss auf - "Manta-Platte" und Pommes, das gibts bei uns noch nicht. Heißen soll er "Die schnelle Trelle und Pomm Fritz". Trelle ist ihr Nachname, Pomm Fritz weil Fritz. Ist von mir.

It was so hot that day (just like each and every day during this long and sweltering summer), somewhere on our photographer´s camera roll exists a picture of me, standing in a tub filled with icy cold water, eating crisps, while watching FRITZ BIELMEIER take pictures of LAURA TRELLE (WERBUNG für beide, unbezahlt). That´s how comfy the whole shooting went down.

Fritz´s favorite is the one of W and me, without our heads - not sure what that says about our faces... We however love every single one very much - and our two visitors.
