We know those prohibition times are long gone and there is no need to secretly signal that you´re up for a drinking party by flashing a chunky gemstone ring anymore. But since it was kind of illegal to drink in public up until right now due to pandemic lockdown measures, it totally makes sense to pick up a hundred years old tradition without feeling very late to the (drinking) party. Also "cocktail ring" just sounds really nice and they actually do look a lot like cocktails too, so: COCKTAIL RINGS! We also made some very TINY COCKTAILS for the not so heavy drinkers amongst you - well, you could actually be a teetotaler and still wear them, since there is no real booze involved at all, promise.

TWISTY RINGS - made by twisting two strands of silver wire together while yelling "Go go go!" / The TINY EBONY RINGS are back - these are a bit finicky to make, so we stopped. But since you seem to like them so much, we decided to do some more finicking. You´re welcome.

Es schneit, es ist egal. Sobanudeln mit Blaukraut und Edamame, Ingwer, eine Soße mit Erdnussbutter, Sojasoße, viel Limette. Danach Vanilleeclairs und Pistaziencroissants zerbröseln. Überall Puderzucker. Besserer, nein, bester Nebeneffekt: Limettenduft an den Händen, mindestens bis zum nächsten Tag. Für jemanden und sich selbst HEARTBEET CAKE backen. Hände EINCREMEN, Mohairpulli an und aufs Sofa, PLEASE LIKE ME einschalten - you just might.

Vor zwanzig Jahren hat mir jemand am Valentinstag einen sehr kleinen Krokus im Garten seiner Mutter ausgegraben und an der Bushaltestelle geschenkt. Auch diesen Advent seid ihr wieder ganz herzlich eingeladen uns zu besuchen, allerdings nicht alle auf einmal und Glühwein gibt es leider auch keinen. Fest dran glauben: Irgendwann mal wieder mit dem Rücken zum Heizpilz auf der Straße vorm Cafe sitzen, hinten wird es allmählich richtig heiß, vorne bleibt es frisch. Die rosa Mütze bleibt also auf - drunter schauen die Ohrringe raus, links einer, rechts ein anderer.  Und irgendwann dann sogar wieder reingehen und die Mütze kommt runter. Jetzt aber noch eine Weile TALKING ABOUT ZOMBIES AND SINGAPORE SLING. Mit leicht schlechtem Gewissen die importierten Himbeeren aus dem Supermarkt essen und die neuesten "best chocolate chip cookies ever" aus dem Internet nachbacken, müssen aber erst mal 12 Stunden im Kühlschrank durchziehen. THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE by Rebecca Curtis lesen, zum siebten mal und danach zum siebten mal checken ob die Zeckenimpfung noch aktuell ist. Alle Jahre wieder und alle Jahre wieder Schokolade auf dem Impfpass, wegen den cookies.

Definitiv keine Kerzen drehen wollen. Generell definitiv keine neuen Hobbies. Reicht jetzt. Einfach nur müde sein. Matcha-Teebeutel - kein Pulver anrühren. Im Sitz-Liegen IN HER OWN WORDS for the crazy frills, tears (so much crying!) and a surprising amount of prominent cars anschauen and for even more frills COSTUME DESIGN for "The Crown" und danach GHOST TOWN RADIO hören, so als Kontrast, zum Runterkommen von der Chaiselongue. Sein eigenes Wappen entwerfen.

Wieviele Personen an Weihnachten sind zu wenig für eine SCHOKOLADENTERRINE mit Amarenakirschen und Maronen? Zwei Personen? Eine Person? Und wie schauts aus wenn man nur die Hälfte davon macht? Und wenn man dann um den Rest der Kirschen MARZIPAN pappt? Ist das dann immer noch alles viel zu süß? Wird einem da nicht schlecht? Kaffeekränze an den Christbaum hängen und wieder runter essen, wenn sie nicht mehr ganz so hart sind. Ein ganz kleines Herz unter den Christbaum legen, damit es so richtig LUSTIG LUSTIG TRALLALALLALA wird. CONVINCE THE BOY ACROSS THE STREET für Zuhause bestellen. Jeden Tag in die Ostengasse spazieren, schauen was es Neues im Adventskalender vom ZFKK zu sehen gibt und ein paar Quarkbällchen bei der Bäckerei Teufel mitnehmen. Schauen ob man die im Ganzen in den Mund stecken kann. Kann man. Auf dem Flohmarkt bunte Lichterketten kaufen und Kristallglasschüsselchen fürs Katzenfutter. Die sind schön schwer, die rutschen nicht über die Fliesen. Schaut auch gleich viel festlicher aus. Reading Nancy Mitfords period piece "Christmas Pudding" about a house party in the Cotswolds during the outbreak of hoof-and-mouth disease featuring the way too frolicsome characters called "Bunch", "Squibby" and "Biggy". Hilarious. Definitely not having the T.B. BLUES, just the regular ones. Und wenn gar nichts mehr hilft: COLLECTING SOME MORE COVID19 SCREAMS. Alrighty. Alle Strophen von DER MOND IST AUFGEGANGEN, "Gott" bei Bedarf mit "Leben" ersetzen.
