posted about this spectacular coloured beet root pasta some time ago
(she added a link to the RECIPE, too)
i just had to try them
while cooking the colour changed to Barbie-pink
and in the end it looked like a salad made with strips of sausage
but it tasted very good with parsley-almond-pesto
.

  1. I'm not sure how I feel about actually eating pasta that resembles Barbie-pink strips of sausage, but your photograph is very pretty.

    i admit - i was a bit repelled by the look, too. but there has to be a way to kepp the dark red colour while cooking, maybe i didn´t puree the beets well enough..

  3. It's sad it looses the colour, mine did that too and I don't know why, as you say there must be a way to keep the colour. I'm glad you tired it however : )
